The International Choir Conducting Course is organized by the French Association Musique et Phénoménologie . The course offers conductors as well as experienced singers the opportunity to work with a small ensemble of singer s on an a cappella program with compositions of different periods and styles.
The focus of the work provided is on the conscious listening which permits the penetration of the specific structure of each music al piece. This active listening enables an orientation by which each singer may find the music al function of the own part and may sing it in an alive correlation to the other voices. …
