XXth International Choir Conducting Course

from August 3rd until August 12th 2009
in Kloster St. Trudpert, Münstertal, Germany

The course is mainly aimed at young conductors and students with conducting experience.
About twenty experienced singers are at the trainees’ disposal for two or three daily rehearsals.
The programme consists of a cappella pieces from different periods and different styles.
Training in conducting gesture takes place everyday.

The artistic director determines the new trainees’ admission to the course
based on an examination of their registration file.

The conductors are expected to prepare themselves thoroughly enough to be able
to work with the choir without the score.

The scores are sent to you upon your registration with compulsory deposit.
Course languages will be French, German, English and Spanish.
A concluding concert will take place in the evening of August 11th.
