Back to the origin

Repertoire Explorer & Opera Explorer (full score of chamber, choir to symphonic music and full score operas) is a large undertaking of publishing scores in size of a study score to keep alive and to advocate all the richness and variety of classical music.

Our publications are designed for study purposes with the intension to give musician the chance to develop a unique contact to a piece from the point of origin, to encourage a listening deep inside rather than to react on what was heard somewhere else.

Every score includes a new scholarly preface (English, German) with information on the work's genesis, performance history and among many other things it includes references where to find performance material in order to promote a piece to be performed. (Over 800 prefaces are online)

Since our start 8 years ago we have published more than 1000 pieces consisting a worldwide distribution. This is possible because of the honorary assistance of musicians, musicologists, critics, students, collectors and music lovers from all over the world.

Take a look at our library of rare scores. Every month sees new additions to our growing list of rarities that have either never been available in miniature format or have long been out of print.

Your ideas and proposals for new scores are welcome.
